Here are the pictures and a compilation of the videos I shot at Dareke and Nathan's wedding. Read more here. My original plan had been to wait a little longer, but I started putting the video together this afternoon, and the rest just sort of followed after. The pictures, like the majority of the indoor shots I take, are disappointing to me. The digital camera I use is one of the type that only has a few presets and no manual focus or settings, with the exception of some compensation settings that never seem to help. The idea of upgrading to some kind of digital SLR is one that has occurred to me many times, but the expense, the learning curve, and lack of easy portability when compared to my current camera sour the deal. So, I will continue to deal with mediocre to bad indoor shots--either grainy from low light or blurry from the exposure--until such a time that I decide to upgrade.

The video is also only mediocre, but mainly due to the sound quality, as the mic only seems to be able to pick up my voice. I suggest watching the video only if you are interested in hearing me laugh (at an annoying volume due to my proximity to the mic) at people whose voices you can't really hear. One additional point: my friends do actually like me, for the most part, they just get nervous and cranky when a camera is pointed at them, which gives them the appearance of annoyance. But, most of them do, in fact, enjoy my company.

Or so they tell me.
